This kit is used for the in vitro qualitative detection of Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU) nucleic acid specifically in human urine samples, female cervical swabs, or male urethral swabs. The main target populations of this kit include patients with Ureaplasma urealyticum infection in the genital tract, people with a history of unsafe sexual contact or multiple sexual partners, people with a history of close contact with patients, and people with related clinical symptoms. This kit can be used for the differential diagnosis of urinary and genital tract related infections caused by Ureaplasma urealyticum pathogens. Ureaplasma urealyticum (UU), also known as Mycoplasma urealyticum, is a kind of prokaryotic microorganism between bacteria and viruses. Ureaplasma urealyticum is a common parasitic mycoplasma in the human urinary and genital tract. It is symbiotic with the human body and can cause disease when the internal environment changes or immunity decreases. It usually causes urinary tract infections and genital system infections. Clinically, the common manifestations are frequent urination, urgent urination, urine pain, increased urethral secretions and other symptoms, and serious cases may even cause salpingitis, ovaritis and other complications, which may lead to infertility.
