MD Atlas is the reference platform that revolutionizes access to EUDAMED data in a more modern, fast, and intuitive way. It offers structured access for every economic operator interested in the medical-device and in-vitro-diagnostic markets.

All data is sourced from EUDAMED, the European database for medical devices and in vitro diagnostics, managed by the European Commission. Our database is synchronized regularly to stay up to date. Additional data sources are coming soon.

MD Atlas is updated continuously: our synchronization workers ingest EUDAMED data in an ongoing cycle, country by country. The date of the latest update is shown on the home page and on every page you visit.

MD Atlas is entirely free to access for searching and consulting data. Search and browsing features are free and require no account. Advanced features (custom alerts, exports, AI) are available as paid options.

MD Atlas is built for a wide audience: the general public, regulatory-affairs and quality professionals, manufacturers, distributors and importers, notified bodies, consultants and service providers, industry federations, public institutions and competent authorities, journalists and researchers — and anyone who needs fast access to EUDAMED's public data.

Alongside its publicly accessible site, MD Atlas offers the following services:

MD Atlas publishes a monthly digest of the new devices, certificates and manufacturers added to EUDAMED, delivered straight to your inbox. You can subscribe from the form in the site footer; we send one email per month and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Select "Devices" in the search bar and type the device trade name, Basic UDI, or UDI-DI. Apply the filters (risk class, status, issuing entity) for precise results.

Yes — we can use other filters in addition to the ones shown in the advanced search. We can also combine several filters together.

Yes. In addition to the free CSV export of any search results, MD Atlas can build bespoke exports tailored to your needs — any field available on the platform can be added. Custom exports are typically used for:

• competitive intelligence and mapping of manufacturers, devices, and certificates
• regulatory monitoring of MDR/IVDR certificates and their expiry dates
