Delta Midline Kit is a set of medical devices supplied in a single package intended to be used in combination with each other in order to allow the positioning of the peripheral venous catheter called Midline in the deep peripheral veins such as the basilic, cephalic, median cubital vein, using a modified Seldinger insertion technique. Once the Midline peripheral venous catheter has been positioned, the latter is intended to ensure short-term venous access (<30 days) to the peripheral circulatory system for the administration of medications, for blood sampling and for the administration of contrast media.
