I.V. Peripheral Catheters with closed system and safey device are composed by a stainless steel needle and a catheter tube in medical grade polyurethane with rx-opaque line. The tube is connected to an Y catheter hub with rubber wings to fix the device to the patient skin. The Y catheter hub is linked to a polyurethane tube which is connected, at the opposite site to dual entry adapter provided with a vent-fitting protected by a LL cap and with a needleless valve. It is provided with and additional needleless valve into the blister. Safety IV Catheters with closed system are Catheters for peripheral and subcutaneous access that, in combination with other peripheral Medical Devices, allows the collection of blood sample and the administration of fluids.
