Obturators dual entry are accessories of IV Catheters produced by Delta Med. They are formed by a shaft having the dimension according to the the Gauge of the IV Catheter to which it is intended to be used. The shaft is connected to luer lock fitting used to connect safely the accessory to the catheter hub. The shaft surface is protected by a plastic protector that covers the entire length of the oburators. The reference size of the Obturators is identified by the Gauge-color code. They are intended to close (obstruct) the internal lumen of the catheter to prevent clots formation and for the momentanous suspension of the treatment.
