amPHI is a prehospital medical record stand-alone software intended to capture, communicate and store assessments, observations, measurements, and treatments entered by prehospital caregivers and provided by the prehospital monitoring equipment. By providing clinicians with tools to assess, calculate, and monitor patient-related data, the device facilitates the analysis of critical information, assisting clinicians in making informed decisions based on patient-specific parameters. When network connectivity is available, the registered information is communicated to a central system, allowing intended users that takes part in the care chain (e.g. the receiving hospital) to view the information as it is registered in the prehospital environment. The prehospital medical record includes patient demographics, situational incident and patient information, assessments, ECGs, vital signs, symptoms, observations, images, all relevant to the individual patient case, and treatment provided by the prehospital caregivers. The product supports configuration according to local clinical guidelines, providing access to written guidelines, as well as configuration of the record structure to best accommodate the documentation and workflows stated by the local clinical guidelines. Prescriptions are created from the central system and communicated to the prehospital units, presenting the prescription to the ambulance personnel and/or paramedics. amPHI is indicated for emergency medicine within the prehospital Emergency Medical Service, which manages all patients receiving care from the prehospital organization. Clinicians can use amPHI to: - Document any medical data generated. - Share information within the prehospital organization. - Review the documented data to identify trends and to support diagnostic and therapeutic decisions while delivering care to patients.
