Its objectives are: - Provide adequate alveolar ventilation with CO2 removal and satisfactory oxygenation; - Reduce respiratory work. Ventilation can take place non-invasively. Recent guidelines and studies demonstrate the importance of non-invasive ventilation. PATIENT ventilation via the BREATHING CIRCUIT FOR BABY SHUTTLE together with Flow cannulaes promotes non-invasive ventilation; with this interface (Flow cannula), it is possible to provide ventilatory support that best satisfies gas exchange without causing particular damage to the ventilated lung. It is used for the following therapies: Non-invasive ventilation, with heated or unheated, humidified flow.
