  Do not give Movicol Paediatric Chocolate if the doctor has told you that the child has: • a blockage in its intestine (gut obstruction, ileus) • a perforated gut wall •severe inflammatory bowel disease like ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease or toxic megacolon • an allergy to any of the ingredients of Movicol Paediatric Chocolate

  There is a possibility that the absorption and consequently the effectiveness of any medicines taken orally could be reduced if taken at the same time as Movicol Paediatric Chocolate. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, any medicines should not be given to the child orally for one hour before, during and for one hour after taking Movicol Paediatric Chocolate. Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if your child is taking, or has recently taken, any medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
