Thrombin Time is an in vitro diagnostic reagent for the quantitative determination of thrombin time (TT) in human sodium-citrated plasma by means of automated, semi-automated, and manual coagulometric methods. It is intended as an aid in the diagnosis of fibrinogen-related haemostasis disorders and in the detection of thrombin-inhibitory effects in patients with bleeding symptoms or at risk for bleeding disorders.
