Immunologischer Test zum qualitativen Nachweis von D-Dimer in Kapillarblut aus der Fingerbeere, Citratblut und Citratplasma. Der Test dient als diagnostisches Hilfsmittel bei Verdacht auf tiefe Venenthrombosen (TVT), Lungenembolien (LE) und disseminierte intravasale Gerinnungsstörungen (DIC). Ein negatives D-Dimer Ergebnis schließt diese mit sehr hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit aus. Der Test ist ausschließlich für die Anwendung durch medizinisch geschultes Personal vorgesehen und nicht für die freiverkäufliche Abgabe (OTC) bestimmt. Der Test ist nicht für die Eigenanwendung bestimmt. Das Produkt darf nicht als alleinige Grundlage für diagnostische Entscheidungen verwendet werden. Die Ergebnisse des Tests müssen im Kontext der klinischen Anamnese und durch einen Laborbestätigungstest validiert werden. Es handelt sich um ein nicht automatisches Produkt, das gezielt für die patientennahe Diagnostik entwickelt wurde.
