If additional lubrication is needed, use only water-based lubricants. Avoid using petroleum jelly or mineral oil-based lubricants, which can damage the probe cover. Do not use probe covers after their expiration date. For single-use only. Do not reuse the probe covers. Reuse may pose a risk of device contamination and cause patient infection or transmission of infection. Disinfecting the probes after each examination may reduce the likelihood of cross-contamination. Any serious adverse event occurring in connection with this device should be reported to the manufacturer and the competent authority of the Member State.
