PLEXYGON is an electro stimulator for localization of peripheral plexuses and nerves in locoregional anaesthesia procedures or pain therapy. Nerve localization is achieved by generating appropriate electrical stimulation, through a dedicated needle electrode, then inducing a muscle reaction on the afferents of the nerve reached by the stimulation. Identification of a specific nerve allows injection of anesthetic very close to the nerve, enabling local anesthesia prior to surgery or pain therapy.
