An orally administered device intended to facilitate weight loss and treat obesity by reducing absorption of multiplemacronutrients (e.g., fat, carbohydrates and sugar). It is designed to interfere with the absorption of the nutrients by eitherinterfering with the activity of digestive enzymes or by creating a complex that is too large to be absorbed and which mayincrease viscosity and hydration of the gastrointestinal content it may create the sensation of fullness.
