VELLAP TSH ist ein patientennaher immunologischer Test zum qualitativen Nachweis von Thyreoidea-stimulierendem Hormon (TSH) in Kapillarblut aus der Fingerbeere und Serum. Der Test dient als Hilfsmittel zur Diagnose einer Schilddrüsenunterfunktion (Hypothyreose). Er ist nicht für die freiverkäufliche Abgabe (OTC) vorgesehen. Der Test ist ausschließlich für die Anwendung durch medizinisch geschultes Personal vorgesehen. Der Test kann nicht zur alleinigen Diagnose verwendet werden und soll im Kontext der Anamnese und eines Laborbestätigungstests bewertet werden.
