The lumbar brace covers the lower thoracic vertebrae (Th 10 through Th 12) and the lumbar vertebrae region (L 1 through L 5). Basic brace as for no. 3113, sewn either side of the spine there is an additional 15 cm wide stabilization strap which is partially elasticated. This strap can be pulled tight and fixed at the level of the abdominal muscles, thus providing any necessary stabilization of the lumbar spine, the back and abdominal muscles covered by the brace. It does not cover the region of the large stomach muscle which ensures that it does not restrict the movement of the wearer. This brace can also be used in field events and similar disciplines of professional and leisure / sport, for example, shot put, hammer, javelin, discus, weight lifting, or at work (carrying heavy loads). The brace has proved itself in general medical use, where it is not necessary to use special support elements (buttresses, corset stays), for example, lumbago and for activities where chilling of the lumbar region may occur.
