Open lumbar brace covering the lower thoracic vertebrae (Th 10 through Th 12) and the lumbar vertebrae region (L 1 through L 5) and is closed with a Velcro fastener at the front . An anatomically formed studded pad integrated at the height of the side abdominal muscles and an additional stabilization strap improves the compression. When the strap is closed, the lumbar spine (and in particular L 4 / L 5) as well as the covered back and abdominal muscles are stabilized, but the region of the large stomach muscle remains uncovered thus ensuring a greater degree of movement. The studded pad increases the massage stimulation of the back muscles and stimulates the blood circulation. The areas of use are mainly in sport (rowing, cycling, running, gymnastics, athletics etc.) and for prevention of injuries, in particular to stabilize and warm the back musculature and prevent chilling.
