The responsibilities are summarized into five key areas: ensuring device conformity is verified under the quality management system prior to release; maintaining up-to-date technical documentation and the EU Declaration of Conformity; complying with post-market surveillance requirements (Article 10(10)); fulfilling reporting obligations (Articles 87–91); and issuing the required statement for investigational devices in accordance with Annex XV.
